How we help you compare your coverage options.
Choosing health coverage is supposed to be a careful process, not a sales script. Here’s what working with El-Mag looks like.
Step 1 — You tell us about your situation.
Start with our quote form. It takes a few minutes. We ask what kind of coverage you're looking at (Medicare, ACA, dental, supplemental, international), what state you're in, and the best way to reach you. We don't ask for a Social Security number, banking info, or anything you wouldn't share on a first call.
Step 2 — A licensed agent reviews your needs.
Within one business day, the right agent for your situation reaches out. They listen first. What's your current coverage? What worked, what didn't? Are there doctors or prescriptions that have to be covered? Are you traveling, splitting time between states, planning to retire?
Step 3 — We compare options across the carriers we represent.
Because El-Mag is independent, we work with multiple carriers in each line of business. Your agent compares the options that actually fit your situation — not whichever plan happens to pay the highest commission. If we don't have a plan that fits, we'll tell you that and point you toward another resource.
Step 4 — We help you enroll.
When you're ready, your agent walks through the application with you, electronically or on paper, depending on your preference. We handle the carrier paperwork. You get confirmation when your application is accepted.
Step 5 — We're here year-round.
Most agencies disappear after enrollment. We don't. Call us when a claim looks wrong, when your prescription gets reclassified, when you move, when AEP rolls around again. The agent who enrolled you is the agent who'll pick up the phone.
